Welcome to StoryTap! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our app and services. By using StoryTap, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use StoryTap.

1.2 Users in jurisdictions where higher age restrictions apply must comply with those laws.

2. Account Registration and Responsibilities

2.1 To access StoryTap, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

2.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Content and Usage

3.1 StoryTap allows you to create, read, and interact with stories. You retain ownership of any content you create but grant us a license to use, distribute, and display it on our platform.

3.2 You must not:

• Post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.

• Harass or harm other users.

• Use StoryTap for commercial purposes without permission.

3.3 Content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) or other automated tools is subject to the same rules and must not violate community guidelines. We reserve the right to review and moderate such content.

3.4 Users can report inappropriate or harmful content, including AI-generated content, through the in-app feedback and reporting tools for timely review. If content is flagged, StoryTap will investigate and may take appropriate action, including removal or account suspension.

3.5 By posting or interacting with content on StoryTap, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to share the content and that it complies with applicable laws and our Terms.

4. Children’s Policy

4.1 StoryTap complies with applicable child protection laws, including COPPA and GDPR-K.

4.2 For users under 18, certain features may be restricted to ensure compliance with these laws.

4.3 Parents or guardians can contact us to manage or delete their child’s information if needed.

5. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time by visiting the Personal Center in the app. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, except as required by law. Some data may be retained in backups or for compliance purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

6.1 StoryTap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

6.2 We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of StoryTap.

6.3 In jurisdictions that do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
